Re: HELP! (setting up account w/ Sprint)
have the person you are buying the sero from call *2 first, and tell the customer service person that he needs to do a transfer of liability for sero line (???) ???-????, the customer service rep will then call you three-way and start the process.
it gets trickier since you are not a full-on sprint customer but I think they should be able to handle the transfer of the sero line, provided you pay the $100 deposit when the rep who calls three-way so be ready with credit card/banking info. If you don't have a credit card. You may be able to the transfer and just tell the rep that you will pay the $100 at a sprint store once the transfer is complete. if the rep doesn't do the transfer call back again, some simply don't know how to do it, other reps are more familiar with the process, so you have to call back until you get a rep that knows how to do a transfer of liability. also don't tell them you are buying/selling the sero line, tell them you are taking over the sero line using the 'transfer of liability'. Re: HELP! (setting up account w/ Sprint)
ok thank you, +1
so basically the sprint rep asked me to sign up for a everything data plan for no reason? she was screwing me over, which is what i thought. what about this idea: my mother has a old sprint account, with 2 lines already activated. she doesnt use it though, could i have that account transfered over to my name, to take that bill off her hands, then transfer a SERO 500 onto the account? plus gt rid of the other plans she had previously on the account? Does it work like that? |

Re: HELP! (setting up account w/ Sprint)
No you cant get rid of plans unless they are out of contract or you pay the early termination fee. You would be liable for the old lines on her account plus the sero plan(s). If you would have explained this to me I would have understood and worked it out easily.
