alltel/verizon employee discount

So I tried to get the discount that my company offers (19%) but since I was one of the lucky people whom got sucked into big red they say i do not qualify for it until I chose a VZW plan. Im my opinion that is crap. Why would I want to buy two new phones and get a more expensive plan. Verizon needs to think about things before they lose every alltel person.

they are definitely losing 2... customer service is the worst! well i only have alltel as a comparison, but i already miss them

I was sucked into red from alltel just like you... I got my discount. Do it on line. All you need is to find the discount site and submit your company email address. You will then get email to prove the email belongs to you. Click he link and then it gives you a small form to fill out.. Name, Company, phone number.... A few days later you should receive your proof of discount in an email. The day after I did it and 2 days before I got the email... My account on Verizon's site already said I get x% off on this months bill....

I did it online and a couple of days later I got an email saying that I do not have a valid verizon plan to get the discount. I looked into getting a similar verizon plan today but even with 20% off verizon is still 15 more a month. what a rip/

I have an Alltel plan that I'm happy with. I have 6 months left under contract. I wonder if they are going to make me sign a verizion contract in 6 months or if I can keep my old plan as long as don't upgrade my phone. I would rather buy new phones off of ebay and keep my current plan than sign with verzion.

You should be able to keep your plan but I don't know about if you get a new phone or not.
