http://plans.boostmobile.com/monthlyunlimited.aspx The only thing with Boost is very limited with the phones and maybe coverage but they are the little brother of Sprint so they most likely have the same coverage. I can see Sprint and maybe other carriers counter this move by Tmobile in the Cell Plan Wars, because alot of people will jump ship.

And if they only charge $50 a month I'm in. Couple that with a Leo and I would be in heaven for PPCdom.

Re: holy Moly Go TMOBILE.
Now keep in mind that this would be two rumors all this hype is generated off of, plus the high possibility of the Leo coming to T-Mobile first, so three rumors. If those new cell towers are for sure T-Mobile then I will be covered just fine. Their coverage map hasn't updated yet though so I don't know.

Re: holy Moly Go TMOBILE.
I have to admit that I would find it difficult to believe that TMO would spend the money required to bring high speed data out here to central KS and to expand their voice coverage significantly simply because there are probably not enough people for them to get a sufficient ROI.
I could see them doing some expansion in the Wichita/Hutch area and maybe a few other areas but getting good coverage over much of KS where there are more cows than people and more wheat fields that towns just doesn't seem to be an investment that they are likely to make. R |
