Sprint Mail in Rebates

So I have an Family Messaging Plan for $99. It includes 1500 min and unlimited text. I have a Power Vision Unlimited Data Pack add on to both my lines for a total of $5 (something I worked out years ago). With my insurance and corp discount I pay a total of around $95 after tax. A nice price. Anyway, I'm up for an upgrade. Sprint tells me that I don't qualify for any mail in rebates unless I upgrade my plan!! Apparently you must now have an everything data plan to get rebates on all smart phones..doesn't matter that I currently have a full data plan...wth?

Omg, what's up with Sprint. Definitely going to upset customers if they continue this. They require an Everything Plan for every single thing. What's next? You ask them a question and they'll tell you, "Sorry, you need to upgrade your plan to ask us any questions". Ridiculous.

Re: Sprint Mail in Rebates

Save yourself the hassle and go to Best Buy or Radio Shack. They usually do all rebates as instant rebates, save yourself the hassle. I had a $30 SERO for the longest time and would just go to Best Buy and upgrade to ensure that I got all rebates.
