Re: Upgrading my phone please read i need help?
It has to be activated on the line that is purchasing it and stay active for 30 days in order to receive any eligible upgrade discounts, etc.
You can then have it activated on your line after the 30 day period.

Re: Upgrading my phone please read i need help?
so after a month i could reactivate on my line but i wouldn't really be saving anything since activation is about 30$ so i would save about 15$ but thank you you helped a lot.

Re: Upgrading my phone please read i need help?
You might be able to bypass the activation fee if you call Sprint or e chat with them and ask them if they can please bypass the activation fee.
First I would verify if there is a fee or not. Also, you would be saving money since it sounds like your line is not eligible for an upgrade but your Father's line is. Out of curiosity, how did you arrive at a $15 savings? I don't fully understand that part. Last edited by Biker1; 09-17-2009 at 10:50 PM. Reason: typo |

Re: Upgrading my phone please read i need help?
I understand.
It would be $75 less $30x2. But I think you would be able to save the activation fees. I am not sure but I think you can save the fees if you activate online. This can be easily verified. Edit: Take a look at this > http://www.google.com/m/url?cd=2&cha...LcZ7xfQTQs4omQ The activation fee is $36 but can be waived with a device upgrade. In addition, I think you can activate as many devices on your account as you want, one at a time, and not incur any activation fees. Many customers have numerous phones that they deactivate and activate on their account without incurring any activation fees. Last edited by Biker1; 09-17-2009 at 11:25 PM. Reason: content |

Re: Upgrading my phone please read i need help?
You can save the activation fee if you upgrade. Just speak with the Rep if it is an instore purchase or over the Phone if you make your purchase that way, or via e chat if your purchase is online.
Any subsequent ESN changes don't incur a fee if done online. Verify this to be sure. Also, others will be able to give their input regarding this info. You can also verify this info via e chat, etc. |
