1 year sprint contract lol

So, I just spoke with a dude over the phone about my account. He said I was eligible for a $150 credit towards a phone in November. He also said my subscription ends in November. I've only been with Sprint for a year though lol.

So how should I play this?

Yea until you call back and they tell you you owe them 150$ and they have no idea what you are talking about, "We don't know who would have told you you were eligible for this uprade credit." I can see it now.

I'd call back and find out the exact day your contract is set to expire and ask if this is still the case. If its not then call about 45 but no less than 30 days before that date and call what Sprint can do to retain you as a customer. Depending on what plan your are on and how many lines you have I'm sure you'll get some kind of deal.

That's a good idea. Like you said, a month before the expiration date, I could act like I'm considering leaving and see what incentives they could offer.

I think this is how I'll play it. I'll call back and confirm and update the thread.
