Unfair, I Want My 3G!!

well I heard from Sprint today, they're going to give me $30 off my plan and it won't expire, plus an additional 15% off until they get EVDO/3G speeds! I'm happy about that!!

I just emailed them about Amarillo Texas! where bigger than Abilene and still no 3g!

Perhaps they don't cover Texas because of how large and sparse we are, I mean, I know Houston area has almost 2 million people, Dallas/Ft.Worth/Arlington has 2 million, San Antonio 1 million...

I guess those are the numbers that Sprint is thinking about servicing, we have 24.3 million people in Texas the second largest state and 266,853 sq miles, that's 91 people per square mile... what does that all mean?? Nothing... ha ha

how did you get a discount on your plan by emailing them? I have a sprint employee plan so no complaints here lol I pay 20 a month for my phone but a few extra bucks off that would be nice hahahah

I got it because I told them how much I was unpleased that I'm paying for 3G service and price and not getting the benefit. I've been with Sprint since 2002 so that holds some value with them. Started off by contacting the eCare team and then it escalated higher up the customer service chain.

Yeah, I really don't understand the problem with Sprint's 3G rollout. It seems as if they've stopped expanding? I live in Flagstaff AZ, and AT&T, Verizon, and Alltel all have 3G. Verizon has had it since 2006, and I remember the Sprint reps saying it would be coming in a couple months. Well, its 3 years later and I'm still using 1X.

Now is this for our cell phones or just wireless internet computer/laptops/netbooks ? Because as it stand now, I have Clear WiMAX at my house and I'm pulling some 5.3Mbps download, much faster than what it used to be
