You are right, it is Asurion who is assigning the charges but it is Sprint that is allowing them to put that back on our account. It was Sprint who had to remove those charges in the first place. Now, Sprint did tell me that they had to get an OK with Asurion to remove the charges. That doesn't absolve Sprint in the least for responsibility. They are the ones that chose Asurion to be the insurance carrier of record for their customers. It is Sprint that allows Asurion to add a deductible charge onto the customers account WITHOUT the customer even knowing it. It is Sprint that did not take care to make sure that the bogus charge was not added back onto our account once it had been removed. AND IT WAS SPRINT THAT TURNED OFF OUR PHONES without cause. So it is Sprint that will lose our business along with Asurion. They need to get their act together or continue to lose customers at an astounding rate. I am done with them!

well, i'm pretty sure all the carriers asurion works with have integrated systems to automate the charges. would you rather being forced to pay with cc when you file a claim?

just happen to me $100 charge out of no where.
called to early Asurion doesn't open untill 7 sprint girl i talk will call them in 45 min when they open and call me back boy i wonder who is doing this alot of people are getting hit by this they need to trap those people and pack then to jail |

Update. I called Sprint for a non issue question and asked them about my account with the fraud issue at the end. They said."Im sorry for the whole mess and you account has been credited and you claims with assurion have been resseted to 0". I said "OK, but who is at fault? You or Asurion?". She said must likely Sprint. LOL. Anyways. I never got no phone call fom Asurion Fraud department, but everything got squared away. Looks like Sprint and Asurion swept everything under the rug and stayed quite. These crooks executed a good fraud. But they missed one critical element. I think some of us or all of us have the feature where when any changes happen in our accounts, we get a text notification, so the crooks get caught in the act. Well.. at least thats the way i found out.
