Carrier near Chicago North Suburbs

Hey all, I am new to the forums here. My current Alltel contract is up in June. Just so happens that the Palm Pre is coming out in June and also the HTC touch pro 2 is coming out soon. I want a smartphone since i don't currently have one.

This question is more towards other Chicagoans on the forums. Do you enjoy your sprint coverage around Chicago? or have good experience with another provider? THANKS!

I live west of Chicago and Sprint was great for me. AT&T has been good to me so far too, but I've heard people complain about it downtown due to capacity.

I've known a few people on VZW too that has good experiences.

You might want to compare coverage maps for your exact address and see who reports the best signal, since its all about exact locations.

Because I'm now on a family plan with my side of the family, so its much cheaper for me to pay for my part of the family plan.

My mom, sisters, grandma, aunts and uncles all have At&t.

My wife, her parents, and her brother all have Sprint.

One of her aunt and uncle has VZW and the other still has Nextel.

So we're kinda all over the board lol.
