Sprint coverage in La Jolla, SD

Hello everyone -

I'm a new member here so please let me know if I'm posting in the wrong place. I am currently with Verizon and have recently qualified for an upgrade. I am looking for a smartphone that supports GPS, email, office documents for work and has a physical keyboard. After researching, I think I have my mind set on the HTC Touch Pro.

The issue with the HTC Touch Pro is that Verizon has gimped the hardware by removing some RAM so I am considering switching to Sprint. I have never had a Sprint phone nor do I know anyone with Sprint. Does anyone live in La Jolla, San Diego (in particular, the Rennaisance area) and have a Sprint HTC Touch Pro? I'd like to know how many bars you get and the general reliability of Sprint in this area as well as around San Diego. Assuming everything is peachy, I may forego the Verizon upgrade and switch to Sprint. I will definitely need to determine if that extra RAM is worth it but that is a post for another forum.

Thanks for your time!

Re: Sprint coverage in La Jolla, SD

I also live in the San Diego area (Spring Valley area) but work in La Jolla. Yea Sprint is good way better than Verizon I think. Getting good bars here in both areas. Had no problems and works great. So yea, I would switch the Touch Pro works awesome but the battery life needs improvement, so I would buy an extra battery that last longer than stock. You can buy them on Ebay. Hope this helps.
