Alltel phones on Verizon
Has Verizon started to allow/activate Alltel phones on their network yet? Thinking about getting an Alltel TP since they're being *******s about the identical Sprint model.

I'm going to be conducting this experiment with a friend of mine as soon as I get the 2nd Alltel Touch Pro. We're gonna ask the reps first and worst case senario they tell us no, then we'll put the VZW PRL, AKEY, PRI, and all that other stuff after the security unlock.

Per Verizon Wireless only a certain group of phones will be able to be activated on our network at this time (ALL regular handset no PDA's). If you call you will most likely get a no until the conversion becomes more concrete.
By the way if you have alltel eventually you will be moved to VZW but it may take as long as till 2011 for EVERYTHING to convert network, billing, and phone wise.
