Palm Treo???????????????
my wife wants a new phone I am looking at geeting a palm treo 650 off ebay. Is this a good phone and does it connect to web like my htc titan?

The Treo 650 is several years old now. It does connect to the internet, butat a much slower speed than your Titan.

That, and the 650 is Palm based. Not WM. If you're looking for a reliable Treo, the 700WX is the way to go. I've had mine for almost 18 months. No problems at all

like the other geeker said that phone is pretty old, like 4 5 years old, and shouldn't be worth more than 50 bucks....
and for the web browsing experience is not gonna be faster and the same than the titan, i think that the os is outdated today..... hope this help

ima an 800w advocate....i wud suggest it..specially if shes not into the flashing stuff. i aint messin wit da treo pro.

I also susggest not going with the 650 - old technology and probably the worst Treo put out by Palm. The 650 is plagued with memory problems and resets more than its share of times.
The 800W - I had 3 before giving up on it. The key pad each time went bad. From there I went with a Touch Pro. The Treo Pro - from my reading, a much better device than the 800W and evidently not plagued with the quality control issues that hit the 800W. The available memory is not as high as it is with the Touch Pro, but I have not read of anyone complaining about it. The Pre - no real SDK support at this point. iPhone - do you need multitasking?
