EVDO here. That is such a welcome improvement compared to what I had before (GPRS with T-mobile a couple years ago)

ive been in ev almos everywhere all day and barely go into 1x except in a few places....how come you are stuck in 1x...have you hard reset out of the box...and what rom are you on?

His phone isn't stuck on 1X... there is no Ev in his area.

Honestly I could not live without 3G of some sort. As much as I hate to say it, I would switch to Verizon or AT&T in a heartbeat if I lived in an area with no 3G Sprint love.

1x at home in NW Ohio. Alltel has EV here, so I force roam sometimes.
