well actually the plan is nationwide, the problem is the network, it doesnt use the sprint network like many believe, it uses the Nextel network, which is next to non-existant. the plan is great for the ppl who want simple service in big cities. the data is horribly slow, though im curious to see if the soon-to-be-released Motorola i9 for Boost will improve that ne.

What you guys fail to realize is the boost is on the iden network and you can't roam. Since nextel is the only iden network out there.

Boost also just like nextel is hybrid for "cdma" and "iDen" :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boost_Mobile

as stated on the wiki page also most Nextel phones are compatible with boost mobile cards...

Did a little research and was considering the move...Or just another line!!!

if you look at the boost unlimited plan everyone in this post is talking about it is ONLY FOR IDEN. which is why the plan states unlimited nationwide talk, text, web & walkie-talkie for $50.00.

Why didnt anyone mention how crappy the phones are. I mean I can care less, I sell them all day at my store but I'm not gonna stop someone from buying them. If they want it, They got it.

The boost phones out right now are kinda bad and i sell them also but i just got my hands on the new I9 and i have to say that it is a very nice phone. It has a 3.1 camera and auto zoom. not bad for a nextel/boost phone=D>

True its really nice. Im pretty sure it'll sell no problem but whats the price gonna be on it. You know what I mean? I guess we'll have to wait and see.
