Re: how many of you have insurance on your phone?

5 phones on my plan all with insurance. Not taking any chances on the high end phones. Well worth it.

Re: how many of you have insurance on your phone?

7 phones on my account, each having insurance, I think i pay more on insurance than on my family plan but its worth having it since all 7 phones cost me money.

Re: how many of you have insurance on your phone?

Ive had insurance since the very beginning on all of my phones...

Sad thing is I hate to think what I have spent and never once needed or used it..

Re: how many of you have insurance on your phone?

The way I look at it is I'm not putting that $7 away each month if I don't have insurance, so It's going to cost me $100 out of pocket if I do break it. Rather pay $7 a month, have sprint cover my deductible, which they've done everytime, and not think twice about it.

to some other skeptics***ive never been in an auto accident ive been driving for 14yrs, i dont not buy car insurance cuz of it..

ive had insurance since phones were junk, 9 yrs str8 i think now with sprint.. just on mogul replacements alone i saved 1000s by not having to buy new ones out of pocket for dumb stuff happening to em..btw i went through 5 moguls lol

To each his own!

We've got three phones in this house, including one for a 12 year old. No insurance. It would cost $21/mo to insure them all. For me, the $252/yr is really easy to laugh off.

Re: how many of you have insurance on your phone?

I have never once had insurance on any of my phones. I've had smartphones since my Kyocera SmartFlip B&W Brickmaster Palm Supreme (yea forgot the model #) and never had a problem. Yes I've had some phones broken, but just talking to the right customer service rep (which yes, does take calling back a few times until you're getting somewhere) but as it is I now have 3 spare VX6600's and a 6700 in addition to the one I'm using now.

Without insurance. Ever. So now with all the money I've saved every month you think I'd be able to buy the Touch Pro I want... nope.

Re: how many of you have insurance on your phone?

only since i've had WM phones have i opted to carry insur on them. it's paid off well because anytime i've had a problem *even in the past where i had the kind of my own doing* I've always been given a BNIB handset and not once paid the deductible... for me that more than justifies the $7 /mo... the last phone i paid for was my original apache... not a dime for a phone paid since...

I always go directly to the store that has a repair center, if they cant fix it they'll just give you a new handset... but they at least need to know that you ARE insured first... they never actually put in a claim or hit me for a deductible on the new handset.
