Doesn't matter what kind of wimax plans they have if they make no money.

6 months Sprint will be gone.

Re: Sprint going under

Sprints not going under. They will do what they need to to survive, which unfortunately means firing people who know what they are doing, and hiring complete morons for half the price.

Re: Sprint going under

The stock price and market share say something different, as does losing their CDMA manager in the past few weeks.

http://www.intomobile.com/2008/11/23...s-resigns.html

I am tempted to short that stock

The other 3 carriers are profitable

Wow that is the same link I posted in # 12

IF sprint goes under I wonder how the other companies will allow Sprint users to become subscribers? honor existing contracts, give incentives, discounts, etc...

Re: Sprint going under

I wouldn't see why Verizon would want to honor SERO contracts. A bankrupt company would have all contracts rescinded, and the ex-subscribers would be stuck with phones that would only work on a CDMA network. Verizon could honor some contracts and not others...that might make more sense than allowing plans that cost money instead of making it.

Re: Sprint going under

What I was getting was not so much the actual service contracts but more of moving the phones over the network. because, lets face it, the Verizon people cripple phone's capabilities

Bad news for Sprint...

It seems that Sprint is really having a rough time keeping the boat afloat... If you are a fan of Sprint, or a subscriber, you will hate to read this news...

Re: Bad news for Sprint...

I can't say I'm really surprised by this at all. Next will be more Sprint buyout rumors.
