Unlock HTC EVO 4G Sprint for use outside USA
My friend from US sent me EVO 4G (sprint) as he wasn't using it. Can I use it with CDMA service providers here in India.
I am not sure if anything specific needs to be done. Please guide... If possible step by step directions  as I am just a novice user.Specs-: HBOOT 2.10 Android 2.2 Soft Version/number 3.70.651.1

Not sure if it'll work but you can try following the directions in this thread:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-touch-...n-network.html Just substitute the Verizon settings with the ones of your carrier in India.
