Why would Sprint credit it back? That is why we have this insurance for times like that. I recommend just pay the $100 and get your replacement... I'm just not sure why Sprint would credit you back...

Re: sprint/asurion
idk, i was just asking around since i've been paying the insurance for +/- six years and never used it. also ask since im constantly seeing posts about sprint adjusting update status, giving discounts and all that sort of stuff.

Re: sprint/asurion
Yeh it sucks, but I'm afraid it is what it is. Did you try to let it dry out a couple days or put in in a tub of rice?. My brother put his htc thru the washer, dried it out in a tub of rice and worked with no problems. Your story reminds me of work the other day when I for once checked the weather before I went to work..said severe storms..showed up to work w/a sandwich bag..got laughed at..was pouring when time to leave..cheapest waterproofing ever..worth being laughed at. Maybe someone should invent a "phone condom" for geekers lol.

Now, I always use a zip lock bag when I go on boats for my phone and wallet. It has saved me a few times over the years. Yes, cheapest water proofing ever but, it does work. If your going to do this, use the freezer bags, not the sandwitch bags, they hold up better. And yes, I now have the insurance, just incase the bag breaks...
