well, got it last night, and all i can say is sweet. my 3g speedtests are rivaling poor 4g! im talking 2mbs down on 3g. i love it!

day 2 of airvana and i have had 3 bars of 4g in my house for over 2 hours...wow!

the airave shouldnt make any difference regarding 4g at all. it doesnt have a 4g radio. maybe they just rolled out more 4g in your area coincidently at the same time you got the new device.

Ive called several times and I keep being told that they are not available. I even heard this from Executive & Regulatory Services. What can I do?

tell them about this website and that several people were able to call retention and get units. also, tell them most of those people have their airvanas hooked up and working.

telling them about this website is the last thing thats going to get him one. itll make it look like hes just trying to get something everybody else has. talk about your signal issues. be willing to troubleshoot on the phone with them. see if you can replicate the problem, go to the place in your house where you get the poorest signal and let the call drop if you can. or call from somewhere else and tell them you didnt even want to call from home for fear that the call would drop. tell them youve been with them a long time and just want quality service. calling them and saying everybody at this site is calling and getting them is just going to call everybody in to question. the key is to really have poor signal. if you really have shitty service, you are owed one. if you dont then you really dont need one. and they can tell just by call quality an db level wether your bs-ing them.

I have no service in my house. I got a free airrave last year but for the past month its been acting up. It works and than the system button will flash red. i restart it and the samething happens. Ive been on the phone with tech support for hrs and they keep blaming my internet. At this point im fed up with this issue.

If there is a new air rave then I should be entitled to one since I pay for 3g but cant use it in my area.

I just called yesterday and got transferred to account services.
At first they told me that there was a new Airwave out but they had frozen all future orders of it and it was no longer available in the system. She said she could not even place an order for it.

I was about hang up when the CSR asked me about the "Sprint customer satisfaction survey" that will be sent to me afterwards. I was honest and just said that the CSR was fine but I wasn't happy that the new Airwave was no longer available. She told me to wait and put me on hold. About 5 minutes later she said that she talked with her manager and I was put on the list to be sent one. 4 hours after hanging up I got a UPS tracking number.
