Verizon'd Verizon
I just Verizon'd verizon. Back when Alltel merged with Verizon in Oct 2009, I lost most of my service area. So after fighting and fighting with Verizon (numourous BBB complaints, and even a Verizon phone) they offered to allow me out of my contract with no ETF. So I ported to Sprint (Big mistake in itself, story for another day.) When, lo and behold, I get a final bill of $350, for ETF. I call Verizon and they refuse to remove the ETF EVEN THOUGH THE NOTES SAID THE ETF WAS WAIVED.
Well, I just sued them (for recission of contract, due to breach on Verizon's part, and $1818 for monetary damages due to paid service not received [ie: refunds due me] and 2 smart devices now useless.) I'm kinda curious to see what the settlement offered will be. I'd like to just go to court and make it VERY public, even if I get less money.
