Sprint Customer Service - good experience.

This may sound like blasphemy to most people but over the last 5 years I've had Sprint I really haven't had any problems with them.

In fact, the last 3 calls I've made to them in the past year, my concern was usually resolved within one call. I never had to ask for a manager.

I might be the only one but I don't have any complaints with Sprint. They've been good. ( and this thread probably will get flamed to no end, but that's just been my experience).

Re: Sprint Customer Service - good experience.

I know a lot of people have criticized Sprint for their apparent lousy customer service but during the 3 years I've been using them, I haven't had a single complaint.

That being said, wouldn't the need to contact customer service in and of itself indicate something wrong with a carrier? How often do some people have issues that they can objectively compare Sprint with other carriers? *shrug*

Re: Sprint Customer Service - good experience.

I'm probably in the minority as well, but I've never had problems with Sprint C.S. in the 3 yrs I've had them.
I was on a good plan before with several Perks such as 1000 free texts, 100 bonus minutes/month, Free Pick 3 etc., but just switched to the "mother" of good Plans.

Did a T.O.L. of a SERO 500 plan last week with no problems. Added Free Sprint to Home(Google Voice#.) Ported out my existing number to Verizon today. Now if I can sucessfully port it back to my SERO line tomorrow I will For Sure have nothing but Good things to say about Sprint!

Re: Sprint Customer Service - good experience.

Interesting to see a few also having good experiences.

Of course, I think people are MUCH more likely to post something when they have a bad experience versus when you have a good one.

Re: Sprint Customer Service - good experience.

I wish I could say the same thing, I had to call them yesterday, answered within 2 minutes, than put me on hold for 45 minutes to have them hang up on me. another 15 min. wait on hold and 30 mins on the phone trying to get them to fix something on my bill that they said they would fix last month .

You hit the nail on the head. How many websites are out there dedicated to posting people's complaints? There are even companies and government agencies whose sole purpose is to protect consumers from companies with bad operating practices. But have you ever heard of a Consumer Appreciation Agency? Or a website where you can post you good experiences with a particular company? Probably not. Just like the news "if it bleeds it leads" the same thing goes for internet postings. If you want to complain, someone will be more than happy to put it somewhere for the world to read. But how many people go out of their way to write good things? Amazon.com and epinions.com are the only places I have ever seen that have an even mix of good vs. bad. Most all the other places are just people wanting to vent.
