Yep you get a letter. Used to sell Verizon but its been over a year now. Here is what I remember.
There are several credit classes. B and C will both usually get you 0 deposit on consumer accounts up to 5 lines D is 125 deposit per line up to 5 G is 400 per line I remember class C being 125 for a business, not sure if thats always the case or not. Also remember seeing W before, which I think was no credit file found, and if approved will be 400 deposit. As far as how they're determined, I'm not sure what the cutoffs are. I had asked the Credit Review Dept and they usually didnt know much either as it was all computer driven with set standards. The department mainly existed for exception handling. If I had to guess I bet they just pull a soft hit on your Experian/Equifax/TransUnion report and have a specific cutoff number. |

Huh- really interesting stuff. And here I thought it was more linear (like there's an "A" for instance, but it sounds like there isn't).
