VZW Billing ? M2M TXT vs. TXT/PIX-FLIX

Just got my bill from VZW and I have a unlimited M2M TXT plan and it showed I sent 85 texts. Under the TXT/PIX-FLIX I am allowed 1500 messages and I sent over 2000 so I am getting charged over $50 extra on the bill. Is this because I am using EnergyROM? 90% of my texts go to someone on T-mobile. And I would say less than 5% are pix or flix type messages. Do I need to change a setting or what? Thanks for the help.

Have you asked this in NRG's rom forum?

Are you sending picture mails and/or replying to them? I'm on sprint but if I reply to a MMS it goes towards mms count not sms count, I would ahve to start a new text instead of reply to change over.

Unlimited M2M means unlimited Verizon to verizon. Your plans only allows 1500 meassages to outside providers. So you need to change plans. It only costs $20 for 5000 texts to anyone outside of verizon now and unlimited m2m.

Ahh Thanks guys. I did ask in NRG's thread and got crickets so I figured I was in the wrong area. I will call VZW and change my plan as I seem to txt alot. Virually no MMS, but tons of SMS.

Changing plans online is simpler and doesn;t require talking to dumb cs agents. Also MMS and SMS are all lumped into the same numbers for text calculations in new plans
