Sprint upgrade question.

ok im like many gonna upgrade my phone to the htc evo.last time i used a sprint upgrade was for a htc touch diamond on december of 2008(im a sprint premiere customer btw) here is my question:
I have a pending 25% discount,just pre-ordered my evo at Best Buy,i absolutely do not wanna be stuck with the 2 year contract if i do not get the 25% discount,i have a relative who already has the 25% discount would it be possible after i get my evo for me to switch my contract onto there name (new line) so i can get that discount as well?

When you buy the phone at a discount you renew your contract for 2yrs. So if you were to switch contracts after receiving the phone you'll pay an ETF.
Better bet would be to cancel the evo order and order it on your family members account now, closing your current account (if its out of contract).
