TP2 last PDA without Everything Plan?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

Just got off the phone with Sprint executive customer support. They told me the TP2 would be the last PDA allowed to activate on a non-everything plan. Pretty disappointing if true. She admitted that folks with old plans would be left with no true PDA phones once the TP2 phased out, but told me Sprint wanted to get folks off the old plans. Points for honesty I guess.

thats lame but i knew they wouldnt allow us sero customers to sit on it forever and enjoy the best of both worlds. i wonder when WM7 comes out if we buy the phone outright will they allow us to keep our sero.....hmmm, only time will tell

I did ask about buying a phone myself and having them activate it and was told it will not work. According to her, their system will not allow activation of a phone flagged as requiring an everything plan without the plan.

Re: TP2 last Sprint PDA without Everything Plan?

Kinda saw this coming... even had a few dishonest in-store reps tell me I had to upgrade to an everything plan to even get the TP2 at all... what they didnt know was that I had just bought one in December for my wife and her plan was unchanged... smh
