If Sprint & VZW had iPhone, will you switch?

Ok well damn what everyone else is saying... if winmo keeps falling behind in terms of development then ill be the first to jump ship. Yea the flashing roms and all that is nice, but to me mainly because the stock rom simply sucks.

The two main reasons why I would not switch to an iPhone:
1) iPhone size - it does not fit well at all into my daily functioning
2) Lack of a hardware keyboard

There are a number of other reasons (limit in customization, being stuck with the one OS/OS version, lack of functionality with Windows on PC, and more). I won't lie, I like parts of the phone and it has its uses when messing around with friends. I have never owned one or extensively used one, so yea my view is biased. But I am super satisfied with my TP2, so why mess with a good thing?

On another note, a lot of people are saying how iPhones are faster than WinMo/TP2. However, I was with a friend at a bar and we decided to look something up. I had too many drinks to beable to function my phone fast enough so she used her phone (an iPhone) to do it. After awhile of trying we were finding that first her phone was running slow and not opening her browser and then once the browser was open, the connection was so slow. After several minutes of her trying, I finally just pulled out my phone and in about a fourth of the time I was moving along on the net. And actually, now that I think about it that was done back before I had the TP2 and my TP1 was out performing her iPhone. Granted, it could have been a number of other issues causing her phone to go slow (bad reception, something else going on with the phone) but when it was needed on the spot, my phone did better and in the end that is what matters.

Absolutely not. Maybe I'm a minority, but I'm actually happy with WinMo. If a day came where Microsoft canned WinMo, I'd see about getting a nice HTC keyboard slider with Android before I went with an iPhone. My first-gen iPod touch was the absolutely last piece of overpriced Apple junk I'm buying.

I swear, I don't think any of you have actually used an iPhone for an amount of time longer than a glance at the electronics store. I had the iPhone 3G the day it came out for about 6 months last year before coming to Sprint, trust me, its WAYYYYYYYYYY better than WinMo. The only reason I switched is because ATT had 3G issues in my area and the price of ATT service was not worth it.

Now if Sprint was able to get the iPhone and I can put it on Sero, I'll jump in a heartbeat. Even if I had to pay twice the price of my Sero, the iPhone is still worth it. Yes, its that much better. The only thing I didn't like is Apple has too much control, but you can jailbreak it and tell Apple to go screw themselves. I hate Apple with a passion, but I have to admit the iPhone rocks!

Why don't you go to T-Mobile? Their prices are much better than AT&T's and they may have better service in your area.

I agree the iPhone is pretty cool, but I am not all that impressed with the functionality. The finish and polish is great, but other than that, its ok... The number of apps is awesome, now if only I had a use for a majority of the garbage that has become the standard of the App Store then I would be in heaven.

Why do i need an iphone? I have a TP2.
