Re: Sprint releasing contracts over $4.99 a month??
ASL fee isnt that big of a deal. For one thing most people are spending $5-8 a month paying their bill in various stores anyway. The idea is not a punishment to sprint customers bu an active encouragement to switch to an electronic system of payment to reduce waste. Sprint is making efforts to become a greener company. They offer a one time $5 credit as an incentive to switch to online billing and account viewing. They have built in several methods of account control to top it off. By switching to a direct withdrawl method of payment you not only save paper but gas from an unnecessary trip to the store, not to mention the $4.99 you are throwing a fit about. You cant even get a pack of cigs or a value meal at mcdonalds for that price. I would hate to see how much u tip a server when u eat out. In addition, a bank account is not a requirement for direct withdrawl. There are several credit cards and prepaid debit cards available on the market. As long as the money is on there in time this is an acceptable alternative to spending the few extra dollars. FYI Sprint still isnt as expensive as any other carrier once you realize all of the things they are going to charge u separately for. Just consider before u make a rash decision over $5. And for those of u on the 99.99 plan save urself $30 a month and get the 69.99 everything 450. If u dont call landlines more than 9 hrs a month then this plan will be perfectly sufficient as everything else is included and unlimited.
