Re: whose with me?
Why do you have a spending limit? call and have it removed. Strawman arguements here from you. no one cried and the numbers have only shown you wrong... yet you keep blissfully ignoring them and the requests for you to show proof of your data. Looks like you got screwed in to a spending limit and to an invalid activation fee, and lacked the sense to argue with fees that were improperly applied to your account. I won't be suprised if I call them. I actually verify my accounts and argue against discrepencies. I'd like to see your pulled out of thin air number for your 90% of sprintusers being kids. you seem to like that 90% thing as you applied the same percentage to 90% of Sprint users being Spending Limit accounts (again with no basis). Both quotes I did were not using any of that ebay stuff. It was all brand new from the carriers themselves. You try to quote the most misleading way. You avoided putting in the rebates for Sprint and hid TMobiles activation fee in the beginning to try to make it seem more skewed, then when pointed out and shown to be incorrect you then made a jump to "well they can go to ebay instead and do this and that doesnt even include the maybe fees you might have if you sign up for this limitation and don't want to do this to avoid it!"

And yes, the majority of sprintusers are kids. The latest estimate from quantcast says the visotors of the site, not the posters mind you, but the total visitors, 62% of them are age 34 or younger: http://www.quantcast.com/sprintusers.com And you're a real piece of work man. Are you really freaking out because I siggested that the average joe who is buying a smartphone online would know about ebay? LOL, seriously? |

Re: whose with me?
No, PPCGeeks is definitely populated by adults. sprintusers has tons of kids using cheap flip phones and stuff like that though. It's not a site geared towards adults.

Re: whose with me?
Using your own link provided... 41% of those 62% are adults. Ages 18-34 lol, the remainding 21% are children leaving us with a final figure of 79% adult. Not 90% children.
Not freaking out just saying you twist the rules as you play the game, leaving out facts like the above. Only person I see claiming the majority have spending limit accounts is you, and the only person acting like the 5 dollar fee isn't avoidable easily is you. Majority of cases I see (note it's stating my personal experience not made up statistics of 90% based on a survey I can't reference like you) getting out of the sprint contract is over the regulatory charge (the same thing happened when TMobile did their increase), not the spending limit. of course there are both cases. seriously. Now, are you claiming thatthe majority of people under 34 years of age are people likely to be paying their own cell phone bill? I would say probably the majority of the people over 30 are, but under 30- no way. I would say the majority of the people 25 and under (college age) are not paying their own cell phone bills on that site. And between 25 and 30 is probably about half and half. And even the above 30 who pay their own bill- how many of them actually pay it and how many have the spouse take care of the bills every month? You can post your disagreement, but try to back it up with some facts. So far, of the 2 of us, I'm the one that provided some data. You're just the person who admitted being new to Sprint who expects me to take your word over the accepted common knowledge. As for you not seeing anyone else make these claims- look around. There's a thread on this site about it. There's another on Howard Forums in the Sprint section. There's another on Sprint users. I can't think of a website dedicated to phones that doesn't have thread about it right now. And yes, it IS about the spending limit increase, lol. Hillarious that you would deny that. |

Re: whose with me?
well like i said its a new year. so u have a new crop of idiots who have something to complain bout..either shut and deal with it or move on.. its as simple as that..lol people who complain like that are stupid.
think bout it.. if our really that unhappy.. voice it to sprint.. and leave got to t-mobile.. or pay out the teeth on att or verizon... but come on..lol am i complaining bout the 4.99 fee? nope.. am i complaining bout the lack of so called killer phones nope.. i just continue to enjoy my good coverage and service with sprint..and enjoy whatever phone im using atm... believe me i do have some things to complain about with sprint also.. but whats the point? salty im 35 and have paid my bills on my own since i was 16.. my wife doesnt do the bills i do.. and most of the kids who have the parents pay the bill. prolly have iphones. or droids etc.. cause most kids in highschool or college follow trends..and are spoiled by mommy and daddy.. unlike folk like me who had to actually work my butt off to get what i wanted. etc.. those same kids prolly drive brand new cars..and wreck them 2 weeks later cause they were stupid enough to get drunk at a party ,lol i can go on and on.. anyway.. who cares right!!! |

#2: So unless I agree that Sprint is the hands down best possible carrier, in every imaginable way, then I should just leave? LOL, great thinking there bud. #3: I have already voiced my opinion to Sprint. Again, I was on the phone with Sprint (and getting my contract voided) the second I found about this. #4: Again, I probably will go with T-Mobile as soon as they get a phone that I consider to be an upgrade over my Touch Pro 2. #5: I have also paid my own bills for quite a while. But that doesn't mean the majority of people at sprintusers using free flip phones are the same. |
