Sprint outage 12/22/2009

Last night i was extremely pissed off because my Touch Pro 2 could not make any calls for 2 hrs but for what ever reason i could still send txt messages. Just to make sure it wasn't the phone i reset it and I also checked my account and it is still in good standing. Any one else experience this? BTW im in Texas and I'm using MightyRom with the latest sprint radio.

Yah, I'm in Austin. Had sporadic telephone service and no data yesterday. SMS kinda worked, was getting them fine from one person, but not another. Called Sprint last night, they pretty much said that there's some sort of outage in this area and that it would be fixed by the morning. Morning's here, it seems like I have phone service and SMS, but still no data.

i just check my data and its working same for calls and txt. i've never had an issue like this on sprint i hope this doesn't become a regular issue

I had the outage issue in Austin, TX. I could not access internet or make outbound calls from 5pm till 1am. Slowly, I could start making outbound calls, starting with Sprint, then to T-Mobile, then to ATT.... I called customer support from a landline and got a credit for the seriously interrupted service.
