BBSAK does not find my device

Hello:

I downloded BBSAK to wipe my device. I did an OS 6 upgrade and the device is now jacked.

I followed the directions on the BBSAK website;

1. Make Sure Blackberry Desktop Manager can see your device
2. Close Blackberry Desktop Manager
3. Click Kill Processes on BBSAK

It did not work.

When I launch BBSAK it asks for a password (I assume it is the device password).

I then get "No device detected, Push OK to continue." When I do that, the screen for BBSAK comes up, but nothing happens. There's a space to put in the device password, but hitting the "connect" or "kill processes" buttons do nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: BBSAK does not find my device

I'm having the exact same problem. Can anybody help?

I have a BB Torch 9800 and just upgraded the OS to Version 6 Bundle 2647 (v6.0.0600, Platform 6.6.0223). I used BBSAK before and it worked, after some trouble connecting. When I upgraded to Bundle 2647, I wanted to repeat the process but I cannot get BBSAK to connect to the Torch.

By the way, Desktop Manager works fine and I have a password for the Torch which I input into BBSAK, not in the initial screen, but on the BBSAK main screen.

Can someone tell me what's going on and what i should do to connect?

Thanks.

Re: BBSAK does not find my device

I finally connected by Torch to BBSAK. I think what did it was that I removed the password on my BB.
