BBSAK Secure Erase

Hi there, Does BBSAK perform a secure erase. Bit like a seven phase pass to US DOD standards or do i have to manually '507' brick the phone 7 times?

I know putting the pass in wrong secure erases anyway but dont think that meets standards?

Re: BBSAK Secure Erase

I know this is a late reply but I don't think it does seven times but I think only RIM would know but I'm pretty sure that 7 time spec only refers to mechanical hard drives. But to be safe, doing it 7 times if you work for the gubbermint would make sense just to be safe, but for personal use, once is enough.
