9000 OS install problem - Frozen at Uploading RAM image

I've been trying unsuccessfully to update my 9000's OS. Finally found BBSAK and thought that wiping the device and reinstalling would do the trick. But the process freezes at "Uploading RAM image". The device is black with no blinking light. OS is Windows Vista 64bit. I've changed all the USB power management settings to "off", deleted vendorXM. What else can i do to make this successful???
