The other thing I hate, is ON has syncronized most of the contacts, but when I try to call one of my contacts with ContApps it's says something about no infomation, but when I view contact details the contacts numbers are there and everything... So I have to dial the full number in order to make a call, if it shows up when I start to dial the number and I click on that contact then it gives me that error. LoL

Since I've been having so much trouble I'd love to or rather just figure out the correct/specific text input data fields and redo all my contacts and try importing them again through AS Contacts Sync and see if that works...

I've even tried the builtin vcf contact importer and it imports them all the spoof they are no where to be seen. haha
Holy crap man, you are making this soooooo much more complicated than it needs to be.

Start fresh, that would be my first tip. Don't use third party apps to sync your contacts, that would be my second. Just use the sync that's built into Android, and make sure all your contacts are in the My Contacts section - or do what highlandsun suggested above.

The 2 times I've had to reflash XDAndroid it's given me this same problem. LoL

Or so at least thats what I've gathered.

But you also keep talking about 10,000 different contact sync apps... Just use the built-in sync. Assuming you have all your contacts in your GMail account (verify this online!) then you should be fine. I've blasted out data.img's and done test builds galore, and it's always resync'd every single contact. Even the ones I don't like .

Didn't help at all... STILL In dialer everytime I click on a contact to call it says: "No additional information for this contact" and all of my contacts still aren't showing up... LoL

They all show in GMail > My Contacts btw.

Well there's something fishy goin on, as this works for me flawlessly - and I'm constantly resync'ing my contacts.

Do we have the drivers for it to sync with our pc's? I'd tried Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync if we do...

That's the best part - there's no need for any drivers. You simply ensure all the contacts you want are in your GMail account, and then tell Android to sync your contacts.

I think we went over this, but you're going to Settings -> Accounts & Sync right? You should see your GMail account under "Manage Accounts". If you click on it, you should see some check-boxes as to what can be synced, obviously "Contacts" should be checked if you want to sync your contacts.

Well we both know that isn't working for me. LoL

Sure it sync's them through GMail, but for some reason it doesn't sync or sync them correctly.

I just wanted to make sure I was covering my bases - I didn't want to make any assumptions.

So you say it sync's *some* of your contacts? If it's syncing some, then I'd say you've done the Android part right. Make sure your GMail is configured correctly, and all the contacts you care about are in My Contacts. I'm not sure if there's some mystery field screwing them up, so maybe compare a contact that does sync and one that doesn't - see what the difference is.

All of my contacts sync no issue, but I don't think I have anything 'unusual' in my contact fields... Perhaps something came over from your contact export? Gotta break this down dude, triage!

IDK Every single one of the contacts that sync up say: "No additional information for this contact" it's odd vcf (vCard) worked and actually shows some contact details instead of saying nothing is there... I just can't figure out how to make a call with the selected contact, cause when I select the contact it just shows the information fields and whats filled out and whats left blank.
