Thus, this was causing arm9 to wake up arm11 when BT was on, because the wrong irq was selected in arm9 to wake up arm11.

With the attached patch, the irqs are now in the correct order (this has been fixed on irqs8xxx.h files in newer trees. In fact, no devices using 7xxx processors are using uart2 so they probably never encountered this bug). The patch also revert the change made to the msm_serial_hs.c driver.
Also, I made a small change in the debug outputs from smsm interrupts so that thing are displayed correctly now (typo + reversed variables order).

I've tested this on both diamond and rhodium device so I can confirm BT is still working on both TI and Broadcom bluetooth devices. The phone now successfully stay in sleep mode even if BT is on. It wakes up when BT is used (on BT events).

Regards, Jerome
Soon guys!

Edit - he still hasn't posted his libhtcacoustic patches, which is the userland gold... Hopefully we'll see that surface, he makes it sound like its working for him...

I'm assuming when all the userland stuff is submitted, everything, full BT. We'll have to wait and see however, to my knowledge Jerome has not made his acoustic changes public yet.

Re: Bluetooth and Android?

Don't we have full NAND without SD cards now, too? Those two were my last hold outs before nuking WM 6.5 entirely. i saw he made new commits to libacoustic after the BT commits. I was wondering if that was more audio related stuff, but it makes if those are the bluetooth userland changes needed.

This is sounding very promising!!

Re: Bluetooth and Android?

Seems like NAND is booting for CDMA phones. I haven't heard anything new about GSM.

GSM devices have been able to boot, but it's hit or miss and last I heard you need to pull the SIM - which isn't very useful.

It's not so great on CDMA at the moment either, but the NAND dev team are working hard to bring out a new revision. They've been working hard on a more native-like experience, and it sounds like they're close to another release. LMiller did say they needed some help as the new method of updating doesn't let them update via SD... which is a bummer. Not sure the ins and outs, but this is pretty OT .

I just grabbed JB's libacoustic stuff from gitorious a couple hours ago and compiled it. A test package is being created. It will be a new kernel + new libraries. Maybe within the next 24 hours it will be posted for testers.

It looks like we need a couple firmware images or something to get bluetooth working. I'm a little fuzzy on the details, wasn't paying enough attention. But it sounded like stuff you would have to copy off of your winmo install, not something we would distribute. Sorry for the vagueness.

Re: Bluetooth and Android?

I assume you're talking about the csv files... the jist I got on that was that perhaps it would be RHOD-specific, but perhaps not. He seemed to think if it was, then we could distribute different csv files as needed...
