Re: Gingerbread Alpha 2 on TP2

Is this worth a try or is it too unstable for primetime at this point? I'm oh so tempted...

I loaded up the Neopeek version just to give it a test drive.

Definitely "feels" snappier. Phone works, market/browser works. Didn't try much else (it was almost 1am, had to be up at 6am for work).

Gonna play some more today if things stay quiet in the office.

Re: Gingerbread Alpha 2 on TP2

Ok I downloaded it but when I look in the zip, I dont see a module and some of the other familiar elements. Do I merge this with something else? A quick step-by-step post might be e helpful to avoid future questions like this one. TIA

Go find Tiad8's thread (probably near the top of this forum), he's re-worked the Neopeek build to include the latest video and gralloc stuff along with a fairly stable version of the zImage/modules.

He even posted a couple video walk-thrus for people not used to the Neopeek distro setup.

It is a definite step up from the Alpha2 release from Neopeek.
