remember this test are 2d test. but this could make 3d more smoother also. i think this could be a great test to see neocore get up 25+. i'm really excited. thanks

did not run neocore yet

Just wondering, what is the rootfs file you guys are using? I am still using the 11/15. Does it make any difference if I use another one when I run the 2D test?

I am using the new kernel (12.11). But I found that I could not run Angry bird seasons. The game was running when I used the old kernel (11.24). That seems the new kernel only improve the 2D graphic..

The system is still unstable. Random reboot happened all the times. I will wait until the next new driver come out then try android again.. -_-...

if you are using FRX03 it very stable. sometime when you use OC that happen.

to be honest. i usually i set my touch pro 2 to this setting oc 616800 it works the best. for some reason with the new kernel update. my phone won't pass oc 626800. i was getting random reboot if i go pass 626800. i set it at 616800 it works great. angry birds lite and and all my programs they work and plays awesome.
with 3d 11.26 and gralloc 11.30 and now 12.11 update.

REMEMBER IT ALWAYS GOOD TO FIND THE RIGHT SETTING FOR YOUR PHONE AND USE WHAT WORKS FOR YOU. thanks

its the same. the only thing that we change was modules. topaz phones was having wifi issue. the build.prop it good for everything in including angry birds lite. thanks

tiad, I changed my O/C speed to 606800, the system seems very stable and fast so far. At the beginning, I used the speed the same as yours, 616800, which crash my system. I assume there should be difference between every phone even they have the same hard wares, isn't it? Some times I did not O/C the system but it still reboot randomly, I don't really understand that.
My phone's latest test for 2D graphic:
avg 30fps and stander deviation 5.0
with 11.26 3d, 11.30 gralloc and 12/11 build.prop.
Angry Bird Seasons without ads is playable but it is still a little bit laggy. Overall, the system is much better and more stable with the new O/C setting, new kernel and those three files.
I will keep changing the O/C frequency so that I can find the best one, the problem is how much should I "jump" when I set the new frequency? Any tips from you guys?

hey tiad is it better to o/c less than 700 mhz? You seem to know a lot about the overclocking. Right now I over clock 786432 mhz.

one question guys did you also overclock in windows? im just wondering cuz as its been said b4 that each phone has is own overclock limit ( some more some less my 1st phone maximum overclock in windows mobile was 787 but my second one was able to push 825 overclock and would be rock solid stable) so is the problem with overclocking the hardware ie in windows u also wouldnt be able to push it past 606800 or is it a problem with the port?

im not sure if i explained myself well so hopefully someone got wht i was trying to say.

I have done a lot of testing with oc setting. and i found that increasing the first 2 number 566800, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, etc.... you will see a very fast stable build. but you have to find the right setting for your phone. I believe that RHOD devices have different performance.

yes people could have the same phone. same hardware etc. but they performed different.

my friend have the same phone as me. same build frx03. but his phone it slow. he got everything that I got on my phone.

I bought a windows 7 PC today. I have to catch up on everything. but I got good news for everyone.

FPS2D: 28 FPS
Linpack: 4.527 MFLOPS
Neocore: 18.8 FPS
Quadrant: 53 (but 3D FPS between 5-13)

I was averaging the same after adding the 12/12 kernel and latest drivers.... but only for one boot... after that i just got a boot animation loop and never got back into Android.

Had to roll back to previous settings and kernel and have not tried the drivers on that setup yet.

hi tiad8, your update froyo.user.conf in the first post may be not effect because no space after and no "--" before bind command. size and date modified of build.prop file in system not the same as in sdcard folder:scratch::scratch::scratch:
