How can Android not be tweak-able when its open source..aka you can modify anything....if anything Android has more potential for tweaking then winmo..but like all new things it has a learning curve..

That said if upgrading is the concern...its the hardware the in the end justifies it..both winmo and Android run a lot better on a 1 ghz processor..mostly if they have GPU drivers working as well..

I love my EVO and its definitely the best phone I've ever used. However, I do agree with this above statement. WM had settings for absolutely everything, for example: all of the notification settings present in WM simply don't exist in android and I haven't found an app that gives me the same control. This is definitely something I appreciate about windows machines across the board is this ability to personalize. This is not to say android does not offer the same level of customization, and in fact android may offer more. But, this ability to tweak system settings in the same way just doesn't seem to exist.

With all this said, I would never consider going back to wm. The day to day user experience is just so much worse, even with the additional settings...

Aha! Got you! Know do u see why I screamed my lungs out about htc crippling ms72xx cpu's? Everyone trolled me for pointing that out. Isn't it better when we have a gpu that actually has the drivers?

Just like the other llama said. "why does it take 8 seconds to close when I hit close? What's out doing?"

I order htc evo from ebay and the guy sent me an evo but forgot the battery. I'll have to wait 2 more weeks of pain and suffering from wm. Can't wait til i get rid of wm.

If you have a Touch Pro 2 I hear the battery is the same...aka TP2 battery works on EVO...
