Not sure dude.

Start over with a clean reference build. I know you said it's a pain to start over... but that's how it goes.

Re: Anyone having issues with launcher pro??

I've been having a lot of issues lately, with nothing having been changed in my system, so I bit the bullet and deleted the data.img file and if that don't work, then it's off to reload up the build again. And although it may suck to have to reload everything up again, it's a price I'm willing to pay to be able to run the OS on my phone. Keep in mind what we're using here, it's a port that was not meant to run on our phone, so little glitches are to be expected.

Try updating launcher pro through the preferences settings if you currently have an older version.

Re: Anyone having issues with launcher pro??

Like I noted earlier I deleted my data.img and started over. Although it takes a little time, with the help of Titanium backup, in short order my phone was back up and running as before and many many fewer force closes and reboots. There are still some, but it seems as if you try to do things too quickly is when it reboots android, and I think I've had maybe 2 FC's since using it all day long. Give it a shot, it might help, and def do what Demon said, update LP if you haven't.

Re: Anyone having issues with launcher pro??

i thought it was the blazn builds.... so i switched to reference and downloaded launcher pro to install on there. even before i installed it i was still running into home/acore crashes fairly often.... not sure what to think on that one. and i did a full rebuild

Don't use LP....? *shrug*. I don't have this problem with it FYI. Perhaps it's another app you use...?

Re: Anyone having issues with launcher pro??

the lp error still references an acore error. i get the same error installing a brand new reference build without lp, though it just says homescreen or something like that but still references the acore... and thats with no apps installed????

New data.img too? Something's wrong. That shouldn't happen on a clean build...
