Patch that enables home button support in XDAndroid

new kernel posted today!

changes:

• topa: panel: cleanup + micropklt_panel_[suspend,resume]
• microp: klt: topa: add auto-bl support - Thx to Markinus for his old i2c traces. (auto-bl)
• Added SPI backlight status info method. (prints on probe now)
• Commented some unused topa light reporting code.
• Some cleanup.
• bma150: don't disable SPI bus for the reasons stated in the code

Since I'm also using your modded kernel w/my wife's Topaz, do you think this update is worthy of being patched?

I noticed while booting these up that I got a couple mismatching module errors - nothing that is breaking anything noticeable (at least not yet, as far as I can tell - Wi-Fi seems to be working), but I figured I'd mention it, just in case it turns out something is broken. I would post the lines for you, but my dmesg isn't outputting any lines before 600-something .

EDIT: Finally got it to work. Here's the two lines -

[   80.758087] xvmalloc: version magic '2.6.27.46-01219-g57f1c8d preempt mod_unload ARMv6 ' should be '2.6.27.46-01222-g9825e75-dirty preempt mod_unload ARMv6 '
[   80.802581] ramzswap: version magic '2.6.27.46-01219-g57f1c8d preempt mod_unload ARMv6 ' should be '2.6.27.46-01222-g9825e75-dirty preempt mod_unload ARMv6 '

Not sure if they're that important, but figured I should mention it anyway.

Is it normal that the modules seem to install every time, rather than checking to see if they were previously installed and skipping that step if they were?

I could be wrong, but I think the modules install themselves every time if they're "dirty". Or maybe every time no matter what, not sure.

You delete any and all old modules files right? I don't think that would cause the issue, but I'm not sure.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it Wifi is the only thing I can think of that you would lose from a bad/missing modules file...

I'll do a quick re-compile for you, but those drivers are only for compcache which I'm not even sure is used currently. Unfortunately, I was doing a server upgrade at work when I compiled, and I had to use my VM for that build when I usually use my home machine to build. The compile is running now, and I should have a new one posted up in a few minutes for you to check out and see if it made any difference.

Thanks for the re-compile. I just tried it, and those two lines are still giving the same error. But I'm almost positive this build isn't using compcache either, so I don't think it's a big deal. I appreciate you trying, though!

so why are there so few people, it seems, that care bout there not being a home button n recent apps option? haha trying to get it working with update kernal...
