mapping keys for android

I am a nub with andorid and the TP2's... heres my problem... i am on freyo reference latest build. for some reason my end call key is "power" and my power(top) is "power". when i was using blazen the power key (top) was home. so basically i have no home key. is there a way to edit a txt file or any apps that will let me map my end call key as my home key?

No, they are in the rootfs. You'd need to go back a few versions to have it like it was

You can, however, go into "Spare Parts" and re-map the end key to act as a home key under "End button behavior". The only thing you can't do is a long press home key for previously used apps, as it will still bring up the long press power button menu

Is there no way at all to bring up recently used apps anymore? That's pretty painful, I use that all the time.

Nope.

I never used it... you used it all the time? I call my list of recently used apps my home screens... :p

If it's REALLY that big of a deal to you, go back to the older rootfs. Just know that it may cause issues, and we won't be able to solve them for you!

Also, I daily use Android, and in order to keep things from being too slow, I only have two homescreens, and don't list any apps on those screens to avoid having to cache their icons.

It's a shame the devs decided to change this, because it works great the way it was, and now we just have reduced functionality.

What are you talking about...? Multitasking has nothing to do with the recent apps list.

Either way, go back to an older rootfs (probably kernel too) if it's that big of a deal.

so whats the kl file in the rootfs that handles the rhod500 navi buttons? or is this in the kernel?

kl files are for the kbd layout (probably buttons as well, not sure) and they are in the rootfs.
