Changes between XDANDROID updates

When using the update function from the XDANDROID boot tool, they show new versions and then it updates it for you...

Where can I see what changes have been made for the new updates?

These are probably kernel changes for the most part... can someone point me to the thread that contains these updates?

Thanks!!!

The vast majority of updates are here (zImage and modules): Commits in linux-on-qualcomm-s-msm/linux-msm:htc-msm-2.6.27 - Gitorious

Rootfs updates are here: Commits in xdandroid-eclair/eclair-rootfs:master - Gitorious

Re: Changes between XDANDROID updates

What is the difference between using that update tool and downloading and updating from:
Downloads - Project Android ?

Is the above link the best place to get the ROM for Sprint TP2s? I ask because I just find the xdandroid too buggy so far to use as the main OS on this phone.

That is where you get the 'bundle' packages. The update utility and the autobuild service are incremental updates. Usually more minor of changes, but not always.

Reef puts up new builds (bundles, packages, whatever) every 2 weeks or so, but there's updates to the zImage quite frequently, and with all the button changes there have been several rootfs updates of late as well.

Re: Changes between XDANDROID updates

I use this link and just hover over the "build id" to see a less-technical changelog.
