Noobie... Please help - Browser / transfer files / etc.

A couple of questions from a noobie with Andriod... However, not a noobie when it comes to flashin roms to the Touch Pro 2.

I downloaded and installed the new Andriod for TP2 this morning. I am enjoying it. I am wondering how I can transfer files back from the computer to the phone's SD card.

Also, I noticed, how do I close the web browser once I'm in it.

Finally, is there a fix for USB Tethering yet?

Thanks
Tim

File transfer isn't supported on Android yet. As for the browser, there isn't really a close button you can use ATK or Taskiller maybe.

Re: Noobie... Please help - Browser / transfer files / etc.

Yes, as the previous post said they're working on USB but it's not supported currently.

You can hit the back button until it closes... I wonder what the "proper" way to close the browser is. Most apps you can hit back and it'll "hide" the app - and the system will automatically close it if it's not needed... but the browser, if you've gone several pages in you have to hit back a lot to 'hide' it.

USB tethering, no. Wifi tethering, yes.

I guess I shouldn't say USB completely doesn't work, there is always ADB. It's a little tricky tho.

I transfer files back forth with my computer using Windows file shares and Astro File Manager form the marketplace with the samba add-in.
