I think I "figured" it out... I have to get the module inside the latest Test.zip and copy it to andboot BUT flash the .NBH in my device's ZIP, right???

Test7.zip has a .NBH that should automatically detect your phone model for the keyboard layout so you do not need to download the .zip for your specific model.

Re: NAND boot testing. Test 5: SOUND!!!!/Test 7: Single NBH/Serialno/tilt2 fix

Telus TP2 (RHOD500), Test 7 and newest BLAZN 2.2:
I got stuck with the bootscreen loop on a 8GB class 6 HC, tried another one freshly formatted to fat32 after it looped a bunch it booted. Cell radio doesn't seem to want to take, kind of slow (due to being loaded off SD card I'm guessing?)

Working for me:
Sounds
Wifi radio turns on and detects network, able to connect and get on the web
Keyboard rotation works when you slide it out, the FN and CAPS seem to be swapped though
Auto rotation (g-sensor) works
Browser loads up well
Youtube from the browser has sound but no video (working in reference)
Back button works
Market place works, downloaded and installed the Time application to test
Battery indicator seems to be working
End call locks the phone
Phone button brings up the dialer
Power off works

Not working:
Can't get the CDMA radio to turn on (Blazin, working in reference)
Windows key doesn't act like the program key on Android phones (Blazin, working in reference)
Many applications get a not responding error when you first open them, but after a while they seem to load
Android process errors out on startup (Blazin, working in reference)
Keyboard stutters as it can't keep up with typing, sometimes adds characters (Blazin, seems to work in reference)

Unknown:
The LED indicator is showing charging (orange) after a while, not sure why it's on
Battery warning came up, plugged it in and it showed charging. It reverted to full battery icon so not sure what it's doing

Edit: Tried the reference build, phone is working. Seems slow though but is workable, looks good so far guys

Re: NAND boot testing. Test 5: SOUND!!!!/Test 7: Single NBH/Serialno/tilt2 fix

I just want to remind everyone about safe flashing procedures. Pull out method is not an acceptable way to abort a flash.

I was attempting to reflash to a new kernel that I had just built, and may have removed the usb cord a little too soon, causing issue to my hspl area. So I am now without a TP2. I'll be looking for a cheap RHOD500 if I can find one, but I got the Incredible for $100, and am happy with that phone.

If I find a rhod500 for cheap, I'll continue to dev on the project, but without it, it's hard to test stuff.

count me in if we need to gather some cash.

if someone can verify how hard it is to replace the panel, we can probably get a phone with a broken screen and save a few bucks that way...

Re: NAND boot testing. Test 5: SOUND!!!!/Test 7: Single NBH/Serialno/tilt2 fix

It seems my options are:
A) Send phone to jonpry so he can do GPIO tracing, and maybe try to jtag it
2) Find out who has jtag knowledge, and let them try to fix (maybe)
C) Get a phone with a busted screen, and just replace it with my old one. Send jonpry the old board (this may take a while, waiting for one cheap enough to make it worth while
4) Start a donation so that I can get a used RHOD500 at a decent price and get back to helping with the TP2 dev again.

Again, as of right now, I can't really do any dev for it. Worst case, I'll send everything I have to acl, and he can start going through my crazy init (initramfs) and my weird .c files.
