Meego Port? ARM-based Handset Image Available
Hey guys,
I try to keep up on alternative mobile platforms, and it looks like a Meego platform for the Nokia ARM-based N900 has been released http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/releases...0-open-armv7l/ Would it be possible to utilize the same HaRET configuration and linux-based drivers from the Android port to try to run this? I know, it's a stretch, but it would be cool to try something new. Devs? |

Well, it is a linux build none the less. The linux kernel is versatile. I mean look at Rhobuntu... It is using the same kernel as android. Those are two totally different builds. It is the drivers that they are having the issues with.

I have a hard time compiling regular linux applications, let alone something like this, lol, it looks like all there is is source code in the ZIP, might not be helpful to anyone.

it looks like to install, you would dump the image to sda maybe? haha then load it with that vmlinuz file. idk how you would get that to work with haret haha |

i looked at the MeeGo OS and it seems very good(way better than Winmo) but what I would like to know is how to start making it work with haret? Does the linux website have tutorials on how to do? Let me know!
