Re: Installing Android to Nand?

OK -- got my Sprint phone to downgrade the SPI by doing the following (but it still stops at splash)

On stock 6.5 ROM:
-Phone Dialer - ##786# to get into EPST
from menu select RESET
enter MSL (beg Sprint rep for it or use the online activation tool on your sprint account to switch to another spare phone and then switch back to your TP2, it will give you your MSL...

Phone will reboot, clear memory, and then boot up and do a hands free activation on Sprints server's. This got me downgraded to PRI 1.42_003

Now the question is why can't I still get past the boot screen?

Re: Installing Android to Nand?

It's a complete reboot to factory. Just reinstall a rom, and you may have to reactivate through sprint.

I understand that. What I meant to say but didn't is "Why do I still get stuck at HTC Splash using your tinboot flash now that my [EDIT] PRI is successfully downgraded to 1.42_003?"

I can boot fine using other ROMs.

Good idea Kane. I setup a google doc that anyone can add their info to here. I added some of the known info, if you wouldn't mind, could you please fill it out (to anyone who posted or wants to post).

cool, hadnt really thought of that!

You removed the Task29 part however, I thought it would be for good measure, that way if there was an increase in those who did Task29 and had better results it would be a good idea to do it before-hand...

Additionally I was thinking of adding an "SD Android Info:" column, but since I have never played with Android on WM I have no idea what to fill in the example information column with... Q_Q

Try running a task29 on the phone, and using an older radio.

Downgraded to Radio 1.96.00WF, ran task 29, reflashed the android tinboot test, still no luck. Going to sleep; will check in tomorrow. Thanks for your hard work and help.
