Please post your PRI version, manufacture date, and if it works or not. PRI is available in the Settings, about phone, software version as well.

PRI is 2.20_003. MFR Date is 1-Dec-2009. Doesn't work.

WoZZeR, I think you're on the right track with the PRI being the difference. Now if I could only figure out how to downgrade. This reminds me of Apple and how it was next to impossible to downgrade certain baseband versions on the iPhone.

Crap my phone is stuck on the welcome screen and does not sync or allow any boot options, do you have any ideas how to get past the welcome screen?

Yeah, it's still Proof of concept. You still need everything on your sd card like you were launching haret (with the exception of needing rootfs.img in the root of the sd card).

Is there a specific rootfs I should be putting in the root of my sd card? I have pri version 1.65_002! Woohoo, lets do this. I'll be using [MJG]Rhod.2.2.BLAZN.072110, I'm going to check if there is a newer version out, is Android_Test.zip the latest i should be flashing? How is the reinclusion of omitted drivers coming along? I'll get on irc when I flash - also will post here the relevant info. FYI my radio is 2.35WV.

Try doing a hard reset.

Just use the rootfs that comes with the android version. So are you getting past the TP2 logo and into the kernel?

I have PRI 1.65, so we may be on to something. A few more data points and we might be able to nail it to PRI. I just have no idea how to get it downgraded. VZW might need version 1.65, and Sprint v1.42?

When you provision the phone, *228 I think.. I believe it says something regarding the PRI.. or perhaps that could be the PRL version. We could call up verizon tech support and bs about how some random business software is beefing over the PRI version.. it would take a while to climb the tech tiers.. but perhaps thats a last resort to get answers. Do we even know what the PRI is? What it does will be an adequate answer to what its screwing up.

Boominsvx, I think it's 3/6 or so right now. What did you have to do to get boost on your phone. Did they have to reflash anything or use QPST?

It's a sprint phone using sprint towers, so nothing had to be changed except mms issues after custom rom install. qpst was not used AFAIK

PRI version 1.42_003 over here!! May be a good thing. I've been meaning to upgrade that. lol

Concept, yes, but we all know where it's going from here and I like it.

HardSPL should be the same for everyone. For everyone that has tried, please post the following specs. I'm going to try to figure this out. Remember, it can take up to 20 seconds for the kernel to start loading. I've attached the RUU I use, along with the latest tinboot nbh. Just run ROMUpdateUtility in bootloader mode:

Phone Model
If it's unlocked (HardSPL, SIM, any other unlocks)
Flash method (SD card, or RUU uploader)
Do you flash with Vol DN + Power, or let activesync load from Windows Mobile
If it worked (Get's past the logo screen, not if android actually boots)

Here's my info:
RHOD500
Custom RUU (Attached)
Bootloader mode (Vol DN + Power)
Works

Edit:Forgot to upload the package

I would just like to make a suggestion here:

Carrier: (IE Sprint/ATT/Verizon/TMobile/Unlocked)
Phone Model: (IE RHOD400 or RHOD500)
Phone Revision: (IE Hardware version 0001/00002/0003/0004/0005 ect)
SPL Lock Info: (IE HardSPL version and creator supplier)
Radio Lock Info: (IE US Radio unlocked for GSM carriers on RHOD400)
PRI Version: (IE v2.20_003, v2.43_027, ect)
PRL Version: (IE 60669, ect)
Task29: (IE yes or no)
RUU Flash Method: (IE Flash from BootLoader Screen with RUU on SD card, BootLoader Screen with Windows RUU Flasher, or ActiveSync with RUU Flasher)
Task29: (IE yes or no)
POST/Boot Progress: (IE Did it load to the BootSplash screen then freeze, did it not work at all, did it get past the BootSplash and start at the console, did it freeze at the console and where, or did it go past the console and freeze at the Android BootSplash)

If you guys think you will need more info, let me know and I will adjust the template and examples as necessary!

Template for anyone to use-

Carrier:
Phone Model:
Phone Revision:
SPL Lock Info:
Radio Lock Info:
PRI Version:
PRL Version:
Task29:
RUU Flash Method:
POST/Boot Progress:
