Well I tried it.... It broke sound in WM but idk about android... im trying to install it but it's been instaling for like 20 min. so i guess ill update you guys on what happens.

Well android won't even boot for me with the new audio .dll file.... no luck there.

Sprint Rhod400, Latest L3gion ROM...1st HPSL to be released..

No sound at all, in-call, system, nothing in Windows or Android

tried on a rhod400
OS:WM6.5 Inferno
HSPL: 2.0

Didn't work, all sound was gone, even call sound.
I will try with a different rom and 1.3 HSPL

Causes endless reboots when cooked into the rom. Trying it recmodded just to test.

Could not copy wavedev file, x protected the file.
Will try a different rom.

Recmodded and cooked in, device booted, but no sound.

WoZZeR, you recmodded the file from your own ROM and cooked it back in your own rom, and then had it not work?

First I tried it as a module (reversmod) which caused the device to endlessly reboot. After that I tried the original file and got no sound. This was 2 separate tests.

Could you extract a wavedev.dll from somewhere else so that when copied in the sound works? And post it?

I'm not sure what you mean, but here's the original wavedev.dll from OEMDrivers (I recmodded it so that it can be examined).

By cooking it into a rom, certs should not matter btw, incase you were thinking it was that.
