SIDE NOTE: MUCH PROPS to those of you who are working endlessly to resolve this issue. Don't give up. The answer has got to come soon. I will likely have my Evo 4g by the time it does but I will still be keeping up with the progress & rooting for a fully functional Android on my long time friend, the Rhodium ; -)

Don't kid yourself, once you have an EVO you will never look at your TP2 again!

I am not too great when it comes to builds like this, but do you think it would be possible to only boot down most of the WinMo instead of all of it? If you can do that, you can shut down everything but what makes the sound work in Winmo, and carry that over to the android build. Idk, just my 2 sense. Think that may be possible?

I don't think that's fundamentally even possible, as WinMo and Android use TOTALLY different kernels.

I think this thread has really taken a turn for the worst. However, a few people have had some good ideas, or offered some good help. Most of all I think this thread has been a beacon for the community. Bringing new people into the community. And as such the need for this thread has finally come to an end. More on that in some soon to be released builds. So the rest of you can finally give it a rest.

Not being a dev myself I been watching more than posting.

I love my Rhodium. I have a ways to go on this one before I am about to jump to a new device.

Sound is a big thing. But I also feel accurate power management is my biggest concern. With that I'd be happy to make the jump and NAND test boot and anything else that I can say won't brick the device.

I was afraid of this. Guys, lets let the DEVS have this thread and continue to make progress. We're getting to read some of the deep technical stuff. Good Stuff. Lets not get ourselves on the outside of something we all really want.

But this is ppcgeeks... where drama happens. Leave the real dev discussions to xda and mu.
