Android screen not coming on

Ive got a problem with my Android build.

i have redone the hspl unlocker, turned off all windows mobile settings, formatted my sd card and redownloaded all my information etc.

I still have this problem where android works like a champ, up until it goes idle. LED goes amber, screen shuts off, and it is unable to wake up. reboot is all that fixes it.


any ideas?

Are you trying to use the sense build or the 2.1? I tried the sense build and its gave me a ton of trouble, I don't think its very stable just yet. As far as the 2.1 build goes iv had very little trouble outta it other than we know is wrong with it.
Iv also noticed it seems like I have less problems outta the manual install rather than the cab version

this is any build. i tried Mackie's autobuild and both cab files. with the cab file build, either ASOP or sense2.1 it happens any time the phone goes to sleep. Mackie's autobuild only does it every so often. but still a problem regardless.
