hhmmm, i see.. maybe i just never noticed that because i usually use the keyboard in a well lit place..

and i also tried turning off the backlight auto sensor of the keyboard hoping that it would give the same result as the screen backlight.. but no luck

txyaloo is correct, if you started the tp2 with the backlight on it stays on in android, but it never turns off though.. it's a remedy, but will be a real battery killer
